To paint or not to paint wood paneling...PAINT!

When we moved into our house three years ago we didn't like the wood paneling in our living room but got used to it. However, after lots of thought we decided it needed an update! So, we had it painted a light cream color and we love it! It makes the room so much lighter and bigger.  We also did some updating to our kitchen and master bathroom.  Bathroom pictures to come.

Fossil Rim and near death experience with an Ostrich

We went to Fossil Rim and had a blast.  The animals come right up to your car and eat out of your hand!  I did have a little scare when an ostrich put his head an neck though my window. I quickly jumped over onto Luke's lap screaming.  I swear he was going ot eat me.

This was the cutest baby zebra!

This mama dear is licking her tiny baby.
I think he is feeling the love!
Eli loved driving with Daddy.

Bubbles with Grandma

My mom came to visit for 10 days and it was WONDERFUL!  She is such a fun grandma and played played played with my kids!  One of the highlights was the bubble blowing.  She taught Eli how to blow nice big bubbles.  I don't think I have ever heard my kids laugh so hard!

Kite flying is fun!

Kite flying is fun!  I don't know who had more fun Luke or the kids.

Peep Wreath

I saw this idea in a magazine and thought it was adorable!  I used a 14 inch embroidery hoop that I got for $1, after a 50% off coupon, at Michaels.  I had to make about an inch wide cardboard circle cutout to glue on the hoop so it was wide enough to glue the peeps to.  It took 3 or 4 packages of the bunny peeps and I used hot glue to glue them on.  Where the bunnies were not attached I glued the bunnies ears together so it would all flow nice.  I think it turned out pretty cute!
