Lemonade Sale and Starting School

Last Summer Emma really wanted to have a lemonade and bake sale.  We made signs, cupcakes, lemonade, and set up in front of the house.  The kids had a lot of fun and I am pretty sure they ate/drank more than they sold.  There really wasn't a lot of traffic in front of our house but there were some very kind people that stopped by the purchase lemonade and cupcakes.

First day of school pictures!  The kids were so excited and I was excited for them.  I was a little sad my baby was starting Kindergarten but she was ready and so happy.  Still having two active little guys at home helped to lightened the blow.

July Trips!

If you are reading this you know that July was forever ago!  I want to start blogging more regularly.  Posting pictures and stories here is how I keep track and document a lot of our activities.  So, that is why I can't post anything current until I play catch up.

In July my mom came out to visit for the fourth of July.  We then drove, my mom, the three kids, and I to Nebraska to visit my grandma.  We accidentally took a wrong turn, or lack of a turn, and ended up on a very long detour.  I guess that is what you get when you send two women with a car full of kids on a road trip!  We stayed with my grandma for a couple days and then went on to my sisters house in Wyoming where we stayed for 2 weeks until Luke flew out to get us.  Family is so much fun and I loved that the cousins, and my sister, mom, and I, got to spend some quality play time together.

Goofy faces while waiting for the fireworks.

Firework time!

These two shared a bed while we were visiting and Carson read to Eli every night.  It was SO sweet!
