July Trips!

If you are reading this you know that July was forever ago!  I want to start blogging more regularly.  Posting pictures and stories here is how I keep track and document a lot of our activities.  So, that is why I can't post anything current until I play catch up.

In July my mom came out to visit for the fourth of July.  We then drove, my mom, the three kids, and I to Nebraska to visit my grandma.  We accidentally took a wrong turn, or lack of a turn, and ended up on a very long detour.  I guess that is what you get when you send two women with a car full of kids on a road trip!  We stayed with my grandma for a couple days and then went on to my sisters house in Wyoming where we stayed for 2 weeks until Luke flew out to get us.  Family is so much fun and I loved that the cousins, and my sister, mom, and I, got to spend some quality play time together.

The two princesses in their matching attire!

Goofy faces while waiting for the fireworks.

Firework time!

These two shared a bed while we were visiting and Carson read to Eli every night.  It was SO sweet!

June and lots of water!

Liam at 9 months old.  Chilling in his car seat at the lake.
All of our Summer activities involved some form of water.  Going to lake was a blast!

Eli playing ball at the lake.

The kids always have fun in our small backyard playing with water in our turtle pool and outdoor toy!

I love these happy sibling moments.

May and Family!

My blue eyed beauty!

Eli was not having it.

My attempt for getting a picture of all three kids.

Camping with the cousins.

Eli is such a little sports star.  He LOVES balls, Frisbee, etc.  He is also quite good!

Fist taste of a hamburger.  Not so good dad!

April Happenings

Emma loved her Pre-K class last year!  Lots of fun memories and songs!

Celebrating Easter with the cousins.  Sure glad we are close to them!
These two boys are all boy.  They loved exploring on our nature walk!

Silly matching girls!

Eli turned 3 in April!  He is one Spiderman loving guy!  It was fun to to a special party for him.  The kids enjoyed pinning the pendant on "Super Eli" spraying villains will silly string and running around in capes and masks!

March in Pictures! Yes, 7 months ago!

Yes, March was 7 months ago but I like to document my pictures/memories in some kind of order so here ya go! We went to visit cousins in Houston and found a blue bonnet field!  After living here for 5 years I finally got blue bonnet pictures!

Emma and her cousin adore each other!  These girls are so sweet and have so much fun when they get together!

Best blue bonnet family picture we could get.

Awful and awesome picture all at the same time.  Hey, my sister-in-law looks good!

Me and my sweet baby.

Emma loved to feed Liam.  Not quite sure what he though about it.

Sea World Summer Trip

For months now the kids have been saving all our spare change in the "Sea World Jar" for our much anticipated trip to San Antonio and Sea World.  We stayed in downtown San Antonio at the official hotel of the Alamo for two nights.  We did Sea World one day and then explored San Antonio including the Alamo, River Walk, and the famous Man vs. Food 3 lb. cinnamon roll.  We then traveled to West of Austin and stayed at the Lakeway resort for a night where we enjoyed lots of swimming! It was a lot of fun but boy is vacationing with little kids a lot of work!

In front of the Alamo
The River Walk
These kids loved the little kiddie rides!
I love Emma's face in this picture!  It screams pure joy.
This is the family waiting for the 4D movie to start.  It was about a little boy who played tricks on pirates he was trying to scare away.  The bees and huge spider were a little too realistic for my kids and all three of them were screaming hysterically.  I had to take two of them out because it was too much.  I think we will go to the Sesame Street 4D movie next time.
The shark tank was awesome! They also had a dolphin open tank where you could feed the dolphins.  This was probably one of my favorite things about Sea World.  It was neat to see them so close up!
Dad is still a kid at heart.
The kids and Luke riding Journey to Atlantis.
This was the only "big" ride that Eli was tall enough to go on.  He loved it until it started to go down and he cried the entire way down, and then some.  Lesson learned,  don't let your three year old go on this ride, even if they are tall enough!  I am surprised Emma didn't have the same reaction but she loved it!
Since we were in San Antonio we had to try out the famous Man vs. Food 3lb. cinnamon roll!  It was huge and delicious!
While the kids were watching movies on our drive, Luke and I decided to see who could take the best profile picture.  He then secretly posted it on facebook.  Because it was the little things like this that made our vacation so much fun I had to share.  He conceded and gave me the award.  What a sweet husband!
